B.o.B hits the road for “STFU” Tour

Rebel Rock/Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist B.o.B has announced plans for a North American headline tour, “STFU.” The eagerly anticipated dates get underway April 27th at Omaha, NE’s Slowdown Rock Club and Bar and continues through the end of June (see attached itinerary). In great family fashion, support throughout the tour comes from B.o.B’s No Genre label signees, Scotty ATL and London Jae. For complete details and updated ticket information, please visit http://www.bobatl.com/tour.

The tour will showcase songs from B.o.B’s catalogue including his special project, “PSYCADELIK THOUGHTZ”- which was released in August 2015. The modern day compilation of pop, rock and hip hop tracks debuted at No. 10 and No. 7, respectively, on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts. “PSYCADELIK THOUGHTZ” features collaborations with Sevyn Streeter, Soaky Siren, and Jon Bellion and is available at all DSPs http://smarturl.it/PsycadelikThoughtz, while streaming now at http://smarturl.it/bobpts.

The past half-decade has seen B.o.B devoted to one mission, to erase genre boundaries while simultaneously expanding the breath and scope of a distinctive creative vision. 2010’s “B.o.B PRESENTS: THE ADVENTURES OF BOBBY RAY” immediately established the ATL-based artist as a major force in popular music.  The RIAA gold certified collection – which debuted at #1 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 – spawned a streak of hugely successful singles, including the 2x-platinum certified, #1 smash, “Nothin’ On You (Feat. Bruno Mars),” the 3x-platinum “Airplanes (Feat. Hayley Williams of Paramore),” and the platinum “Magic (Feat. Rivers Cuomo).” What’s more, the album earned the B.o.B a number of prestigious Grammy Awards nominations, including “Best Rap Album,” “Record of the Year,” “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration,” “Best Rap Song,” and “Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals.”

“STRANGE CLOUDS” followed in 2012, spawning the multi-platinum hit singles, “Strange Clouds (Feat. Lil Wayne),” “Both Of Us (Feat. Taylor Swift),” and “So Good.” 2013’s “UNDERGROUND LUXURY” furthered B.o.B’s always ingenious approach via such smash singles as “John Doe (Feat. Priscilla),” “Ready (Feat. Future),” “HeadBand (Feat. 2 Chainz),” and “We Still In This Bitch (Feat. T.I. & Juicy J).” Official companion videos for those songs and much more can be viewed now at B.o.B’s official YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/bobatl.

In addition to his acclaimed studio albums, B.o.B has unleashed a seemingly endless string of inventive singles, remixes, collaborations, and mixtapes, while also finding time for such artistic endeavors as founding the independent Label No Genre. One of contemporary music’s most exciting live artists, he has also spent countless time on the road, including such successful treks as Eminem and Jay-Z’s “Home & Home Tour,” Wiz Khalifa’s 2013 “Under The Influence of Music Tour,” and last year’s “The No Genre Tour,” featuring support from Bread Winners’ Association/Atlantic recording artist Kevin Gates.

I am a 60-year-old man who attended B.o.B in St Petersburg (FL) on June 24. I paid the extra $80 each for my daughter and myself so that we could do the VIP package. It was fantastic that we were able to meet and greet B.o.B in person and B.o.B took his time with all us VIP ticket holders. This man is down to earth and I never hear of him getting into any trouble with the law. Getting the three mix tapes CDs along with the stfu carry-all bag and a stfu cap (they ran out of the VIP ticket tags and I was told those would be mailed to us) was a very nice bonus! This event was worth the $99 each I paid for our tickets even though I was forced to use an attenuation device to protect my hearing (and my daughter even warned me to bring my attenuators). I would love to attend another concert in the future but unfortunately those performing always seem to think they have to blast the bass to the very extreme. I feel like that concerts could be performed at much more normal volumes rather than always going for the ear-blasting overcooked bass. I got reminded as to why I stopped doing concerts however I would go see B.o.B again at some point in the future! Well done, B.o.B, keep up the great work and continue to stay out of trouble! Why? 'Cause they got "Nothin' on You" (n-n-n-nothin' on you, n-nothin' on you)!
