    Dude has. Lost his way!

Waited 2+ hours for b.o.b after the scheduled start time, forced to listen to half ass rap acts (the reasn aside).
When he took the stage, it was the same shit the opening acts were playing! I have FOUR of this guys albums and this show in NO WAY represented the artist that I love and support through my music purchases.

I was first turned into this guy in ATL, impressed he could play instruments, write catchy hooks and put on a show. This was just a Hood event that nobody there wanted to see. Audience was bored stiff waiting for him to take the stage, when he finally arrived- disappointed.

A hero of mine is now lost. Totally bummed out tonight. I have been waiting so long for this show and I just felt screwed!
This guy could have filled a huge venue 5 years ago, now a 1,000 capacity dive was just half full- I know why. I could fix everything wrong with this guys career if he would only listen...

B.o.b RIP, that new dude on the stage tonight- good luck, you are just an average wannabe rap star.

    Sad, jilted former fan,

    PB

Dear Sad jilted former fan,
I don't understand how you can say something like that and etch it in stone. B.o.B. is still so obviously awesome and more than and beyond any wannabe. At worst-case scenario he would have to be a has-been because he has been and that isn't going away.

Honestly, I think you could see how so much the bomb he is, if you looked. Your experience was something separate than who that man is as a person and an artist. Bobby Ray Simmons is so in tune with himself, I'm a fan of him just as much as his music.

Don't write him off because of your one experience because there's much more than that to judge him by.
Where was the show anyway? I am interested if you remember what any of the names of the songs, or the bands, or when it was? I find that scenario interesting. ~5abrin8

I am a 60-year-old man who crossed over into the Pop/Rap/Hip Hop arena because of B.o.B! His "Nothin' On You" and "Airplanes" got my attention in 2010, and opened up mind to listening to others in this arena. My daughter and I attended the June 24 event in St Petersburgh (FL) and yeah, he was a couple hours late getting on stage but since we had nowhere we had to be anytime soon, we were good with it. As holders of VIP passes, we got to meet and greet him, and that was a nice package that came along with our VIP passes (three mix-tape CDs, a stfu tour cap and drawstring bag, a signed concert poster). However, as always, I get reminded why I do not attend concerts any more ... the extremely heavy and overbearing bass. We really could still enjoy the performance without the ear-blasting loud speakers; a more normal volume level will still get the job done. There is no reason to blast out people's ears ... thankfully, my daughter did remind to bring my attenuators, which turned out to be a great move! As for why B.o.B seems to have "faded," I believe he is not interested in being a high-profile artist; it seems he wants to stay in background, if you will, maybe underground. B.o.B took his sweet time with us VIP ticket holders and I got a great chance to let him know the impact he had on me in crossing over to listening to some Pop/Rap/Hip Hop. No matter what direction he chooses to take, B.o.B will always have the support of me and my daughter! Now, I would like to find and purchase a CD of his fourth album but cannot seem to find it anywhere.
